Adult Aikido & Ki Testing

Testing for adult Aikido Ranks and Ki Ranks is conducted at the main dojo about every three months. The tests are usually on Saturday beginning at 4 pm, and takes about 2 hours. Everyone with the required classes are encouraged to test:
24 classes for Shokyu Ki test,
24 classes after Shokyu for Chukyu,
30 classes and 3 months for 5th Kyu Aikido test,
30 classes after 5th Kyu for 4th Kyu.
Check your handbook for other requirements.

"Kyu Tips", Mort Melman's famous test preparation training, is usually scheduled for the three Friday evenings before testing. Whether you come to work on testing requirements or help others prepare to test, all are welcome to come to attend this training. Click HERE for details.

The next adult testing will be May 26 or 27, and will be a part of a memorial Day weekend special Seminar. We are expecting to have three Shodan (black belt) tests and a few brown belt tests. It will be a great weekend with students from our Rhode Island affiliated dojo attending and testing.
