Anyone who's been in the dojo over the last few months probably knows a
new mat cover is needed. All who were around last summer also know the
air conditioning system doesn't do what's needed and
needs to be replaced. A new HVAC system will be installed differently and function much more quietly - a big improvement for conducting classes. Our building owners have been good to us, with very low rent for many years, and we plan to help them replace the system.
Our goal is to raise $2,500 to meet these needs. We plan to raise at least the first third of that in the next few weeks so we can replace the mat cover by January 31, or sooner. We hope to raise the total of our goal by February 28 and have a new HVAC system in place by March 31.
