Information is slowly coming out about the National Conference taught by Shinichi Tohei Sensei.

The dates for this years training are June 21-22-23 & 24. I think the 21st is for Chief Instructors, and it may be that Head and Lead Instructors will also be invited.
If you have been to one of these you know how informative and friendly they are. I hope many of you can go this year. It will be held in Silver Springs Maryland. Room reservations (special rate) will be at the Hilton Hotel in Silver Springs (me at a Hilton!?).

Formal details will follow when they are available. Feel free to post any additional infomation you may have. It's my understanding that the details will be sent to Ki Society dojos in the next couple of weeks.

As I recall from last year's listing, the first day was an Instructor's Class for all black and brown belts. Might be different this year, but I'd be sad to miss that intense first day of "teaching how to teach".

Please post every data and info you get as soon as possible. People need to plan ahead, book flights etc. And since all of you head and lead instructors are volunteers with other jobs and preferences, information flow within some of the dojos understandably might be slow occasionally Wink and not reach everybody in time.

Looking forward to see many of you Ki-folks again in June!

Great, the newest information just came in by email:

------------------------- Original Message from Tom Correll Sensei: -----------------------------

Dear Fellow Ki Society Students:

We in Maryland are pleased to host the National Ki Conference in Silver Spring, Maryland, from June 21, 2007 through June 24, 2007. The instructor for the seminar will be Shinichi Tohei Sensei, Deputy President of the Ki no Kenkyukai (Ki Society International). You are invited to come and practice Ki Society teachings brought directly from headquarters in Japan.

Conference information, including: schedule, registration materials, and travel and accommodation information, can be located online at:
http://www.marylandkiaikido.org/events.html

If you are coming to the seminar, we must have your deposit by April 15, 2007.  Full payment must be received by May 15, 2007 to obtain the discounted rate. If you wait until the Seminar to make your final payment, the fee will be the full rate.  Thank you for your cooperation.

<email clipped for privacy purpose>

Please feel free to forward this information to any of your students who may be interested.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What I've done herewith.

I definitely plan to attend. And if any female can sleep through my snoring ;-), I'll gladly share the quite expensive Hilton hotel room.

Looking forward to meeting you in June:
