Four of us went to the performance at UMSL. We all agreed, it was great. If you get a chance to see this type of theater done well. I highly recommend it. Unfortunately the performers at UMSL are headed back to Japan. The show was dramatic, funny, and an excellent presentation of skill and artistry.

I've heard there is a group that studies and performs this and similar Japanese puppetry at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
