General NewsGood News/Bad News… The funding fell through for the New Journey Movement in Colorado. Rubbert Sensei and Kate Theis will not be moving to Denver after all. While many Saint Louis Ki Society members have expressed their sadness and condolences over the lost opportunities, it is rumored that some others are dancing in the streets in celebration. Some students celebrated by attending the full-scale Thanksgiving Day style dinner (prepared by "Katie Mae Cooks" Theis) for Rubbert Sensei’s birthday on February 20th. Lavish gifts of sake, beer, books and good company were bestowed upon him by a number of people.

Ki and Aikido tests on Saturday, March 6, beginning at 4 pm. Some will be taking kyu level.
