just the other day i was meditating I been doing it for a while and I stayed in like a trance for like and hour and it felt like five minuts I thaught smething was worng so I went to watch tv I medidtated again the other day and I was imagaining an apple and eating it and it was liek I could taste the apple and I imagined a thug punching me in the face and I felt it is that normal Huh

Heh...  It's a little hard to understand what you said, but I'll try to help.

One popular form of meditation is imagery meditation.  Usually something is imagined (initially) that is well known, such as an apple.  Tasting, feeling, smelling, and seeing the apple are the keys to doing it properly.  Because of the level of realness that the object becomes, it is best not to imagine a “thug” punching you in the face.  Try to focus on more things that are positive, and overall good for your health.  ;-)

It is normal to “feel” the object after meditating on it, but the level at which you speak is a little abnormal for a beginner.  I would say you are a fast learner, and probably have some potential.

Have you had anyone actually help you with this?  I’d be happy to help you out with this, given that the people of this forum don’t usually delve into this type of meditation.  Drop me an E-mail when you have the time, I’d be glad to guide you and help ya out.

I have experinced something similar one time when I was meditiaing I suddenly lost all concept of time and space and came upon.What I think was antoher plan eof extenince because all around me was white light I felt empty yet whole can any one help me Huh
